Deshaun Watson's celebratory move banned by NFL |
The National Football League has been known as the 'No Fun League' the last few years with several strange rulings especially their strict enforcement of no celebrations by the players after touchdowns.
However, during this week’s NFL owners’ meeting, they have decided to loosen up the rules on celebrations this upcoming season. NFL players can now use the ball as a prop, celebrate in groups, and celebrate on the ground. Finally, a move by the NFL that makes sense so fans and players can still enjoy the sport they love. One of Deshaun Watson's favorite touchdown celebrations while in college was the simple bow and arrow celebration. The NFL considers this "mimicking weapons," and will be banned by the NFL. Also, gestures like shooting imaginary guns in the air will also not be allowed. Check out the 'bow and arrow' celebratory move below.
