Deshaun Watson sets NFL history for rookie passing touchdowns

by - Assoc. Editor -

Houston Texans rookie quarterback Deshaun Watson is continuing his tremendous 1st professional year as he threw a 39-yard touchdown strike to receiver Will Fuller to put the Texans up 9-3 against the Browns in the first quarter.

Update: Watson had 15 touchdown passes which are the most in NFL history by a rookie in his team's 1st six games of the season. He is also the first rookie quarterback to have three passing touchdowns in three straight games.

In contrast, the Texans only had a pedestrian 15 passing touchdowns last season.

Watson is already 7th place on the Texans' all-time passing touchdown list.
