Dabo Swinney on FSU game

by -

Dabo Swinney spoke at his Tuesday press conference that the Clemson-FSU game is really big game for both teams. "Winner of the game is in control, the loser is at the mercy of others. However, a loss doesn't end the season. Still a lot of big games to play."

He also said, "I know for the media it's GameDay, but for us it's game four."

Also, Swinney says Clemson and FSU should be two of the best teams in the country. "Hopefully, that's where we're headed."

He was then asked about Florida State being a huge favorite and picked to win easily by most media experts. "If I was outside looking in, I would probably pick them, too. But I am not on the outside, I am on the inside. And I like where I'm at."

Swinney says Tigers were underdogs last year at Va. Tech and in ACCCG...still won. "The game is played in between the lines by players. Don't know if there's a benefit to being underdog. Haven't been picked to win division last 3 years and have won it twice."
