Clemson releases statement on Hurricane Irma |
South Carolina governor Henry McMaster declared the state in a state of emergency Wednesday in advance of Hurricane Irma, which is forecasted to make landfall (on some models) in the state either late this weekend or early next week.
Clemson hosts Auburn this weekend in a 7 p.m. contest, and with that in mind TigerNet reached out to Clemson to see if it would impact this weekend's game. Clemson Director of Communications Joe Galbraith released the following statement: "Clemson officials are continuing to monitor the situation with Hurricane Irma, and have no changes to this weekend’s plans at this time," Galbraith said. "We’ll continue to work with law enforcement, emergency services, and campus officials and will provide further updates if anything changes." Gov.
