Clemson ranked high in AP Preseason Poll |
Clemson won their second National Championship last season and now will be defending their crown in 2017. The Associated Press
released their preseason poll on Monday and had the Tigers ranked No. 5 in the poll behind Alabama, Ohio State, Florida State, and USC.
Clemson will play four teams ranked in the preseason top 25 rankings with Florida State (#3), Auburn (#12), Louisville (#16), and Virginia Tech (#21). It is the 25th straight week that Clemson has been ranked in the top five of the AP Poll which is a school record and the sixth straight year that the Tigers are ranked in the Preseason Top 25.
