Clemson outfielder Chase Pinder was drafted in the seventh round (#214 overall) by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 2017 MLB Draft on Tuesday afternoon. The slot value for the pick is 190.7K.

Pender was a third-team All-ACC selection this past season.
