Swinney’s Tigers are 7-0 and ranked No. 7 in the BCS poll, but needs a ton of help to have a shot at playing for the national championship on Jan. 9, says BCS computer guru Jerry Palm.

“I’m not very optimistic for them at all,” said Palm, who runs CollegeBCS.com. “They need a lot of help. … They are not going to catch an undefeated SEC team or an undefeated Big 12 team, and they might not catch an undefeated Boise State team.”
