Clemson baseball injury updates

by - Assoc. Editor -

Clemson head coach Monte Lee gave updates Monday to the media on three players the Tigers are waiting to return from injury as the upcoming Clemson Regional starts on Friday.

Catcher Chris Williams (shoulder) will throw on Monday and once they have seen him throw they will have an idea of what role he will play. If he is unable to throw, he might still be used as a designated hitter.

Reliever Ryan Miller has battled some arm issues but threw a bullpen session Sunday and will face live hitters Wednesday.

Reliever Brooks Crawford has been trying to recover from mono and he will face live hitters on Monday.

Both relievers could be available for the regional this weekend.
