Clemson House sign to be removed next week

The large Clemson House sign that is above the iconic residential building on campus will be removed by workers on Wednesday, July 5 through Friday, July 7 and placed into storage for safe keeping.

Many students will remember the cafeteria-style food served on Sundays after church, getting their cheap haircuts at the barbershop, and playing basketball and volleyball with their fellow students. It holds a special place in TigerNet's heart because several of the early years of the website, Crump and B-Meist lived there and worked on the website.

Demolition of the historic building will take place in the fall and most likely in October.
