In 2010 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, Clemson won the first and last games of the series. The Tigers have won five of the six series against the Eagles. The only series win for Boston College came in 2008 at Doug Kingsmore Stadium, when the Eagles won two of three games.

• Clemson is 6-1 when scoring six runs or more and 0-7 when scoring less than six runs.

Brady Approaching Record Lists

Junior righty Kevin Brady (Gaithersburg, MD) is fast approaching 100 innings pitched in his career. That is the mark needed to qualify for several career records in the Tiger recordbook. In 2012, Brady is 0-1 with a 2.53 ERA in 21.1 innings pitched over four starts. He has allowed 18 hits (.234 opponents’ batting average) and only four walks with 22 strikeouts, good for a 5.5 strikeout-to-walk ratio.

In 92.2 innings pitched over 40 appearances (12 starts) in his career (2009-12), he is 3-1 with a 3.59 ERA. He has yielded 93 hits (.263 opponents’ batting average) and only 18 walks with 108 strikeouts. If he had enough innings to qualify, his 6.00 strikeout-to-walk ratio would be first in school history, his 10.49 strikeouts per nine innings pitched would be third in school history, and his 1.75 walks per nine innings pitched mark would be second in school history.
