Anonymous coach discusses Clemson

Sports Illustrated released its latest article on Thursday morning with different anonymous coaches discussing schools including Clemson and giving their honest opinions on the programs.

"These guys are well-coached and very good fundamentally within what they do," the coach said about Clemson. "There’s a reason that they’ve hung [75 points] on Alabama the last two years. It’s that they have what we call multiples; they don’t have one guy that has 90 catches and everybody else is at 20 or something like that. It’s spread out."

The anonymous coach went on to praise a few of the Clemson standouts.

"Hunter Renfrow is fast and tough and runs good routes," he said. "Dexter Lawrence is dominant. You can see his explosion and get-off. Up front, they don’t ask those [D-linemen] to do too much; they just go play."

It's refreshing to see a coach talking anonymously and give a positive take on a program instead of taking the chance to bash a player or team.

Clemson will start the defense of its title on September 2 at home against Kent State.
