Allendale HS forfeit 2011 season games

The South Carolina High School League ruled Wednesday that the Allendale-Fairfax Tigers football team must forfeit its entire 2011 prep football season to date.

"We are being painted as the villains," Crosby said. "We never told anything. (Allendale-Fairfax head coach Eddie) Ford reported himself."

Crosby's assertion was supported by a statement from South Carolina High School League Commissioner Jerome Singleton just after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

"They reported they had an ineligible player that participated," Singleton said. "If a school plays an ineligible player, any game for which that player played shall be a forfeit."
