Two Upstate Juniors To Visit This Weekend

by - Radio Host -

Clemson opens spring practice Friday, March 11th with what should be an interesting couple of days. On the first day of practice Clemson is scheduled to get an unofficial visit from T.L. Hanna High School defensive lineman Ben Alexander.

Alexander is one of the top rated defensive linemen in the state for the Class of 2006. The three-year starter has already received offers from FSU and Georgia Tech. Saturday is junior day at Clemson but Alexander is taking the SAT on Saturday so he is making the short drive over from Anderson to take in the Tigers first practice.

Alexander’s high school teammate Ameer Salahudin may be making the trip also on Friday and will visit on Saturday. Salahudin is one of four or five Division I-A corners in the state next season. His first offer came a few weeks ago from Maryland.

The staff is expecting a huge crowd of juniors coming into town this weekend.
