Tigers Lose Tight End

by - Correspondent -

According to our sources, Clemson will be without senior tight end Bobby Williamson in the bowl game. Williamson has been declared academically ineligible for what would have been his final game as a Tiger. Williamson had nine catches on the year for 100 yards. Williamson spent most of the year behind walk-ons Cole Downer and Thomas Hunter on the depth chart. Williamson was expected to play a larger role in the offense this year after moving back to tight end from defensive end. Williamson is believed to be the only academic casualty for the Tigers.
