McCloud To Transfer

by - Correspondent -

Gerald McCloud has been a very unselfish player in his time at Clemson. McCloud has not played the same position for two consecutive seasons at Clemson. Now according to sources close to McCloud, McCloud will transfer from Clemson following this semester.

"Gerald just wants to make sure he has a chance to play. There are no hard feelings between him in the coaching staff. Both understand his situation. The coaches are going to try and help him find the best place," said a source close to McCloud.

McCloud was recruited as a wide receiver, but switched to rover before switching back to receiver. It is not clear whether McCloud will go to a I-AA school or another I-A school and sit out a year.
