Fan Support On The Rise

by - Radio Host -

Clemson will average over 80,000 fans per home game this season. This will

be only the third time in school history that the Tigers have averaged over

80,000 fans.

In 1988 the all-time record was set when FSU and USC were

home contests. In 2000 the Tigers also averaged over 80K under Tommy

Bowden. This year will go over the 80,000 mark.

Next season with FSU, Miami, Texas A&M and Boston College coming to Clemson we think the fans

will turn out over 80K. That would make the fourth time in Clemson history

they averaged over 80,000 for the season and three have been under Bowden.
