at the beginning of November and he is excited about the opportunity to become a Tiger.

Gibson told TigerNet Wednesday evening that the thing that stands out the most about Clemson is that members of the football team treat each other like brothers.

“I like that team,” Gibson said. “They make you feel like a part of their team. It’s like you have a bunch of brothers if you are a Clemson Tiger.”

Gibson made his second trip to Death Valley when the Tigers took on the Gamecocks last weekend and he said the crazy Clemson fans made the difference in the atmosphere.

“I was there this past weekend. It was great,” he said. “I took the tour after we talked to the coaches and the players. I talked to Tajh Boyd and Sammy Watkins before the game. I was mad because they lost. The stadium and crowd was really cool. The fans are crazy. They are great crowd because of the way they go about stuff.”

Gibson grew up an Ole Miss fan, but after moving to North Carolina, he said he is receiving the most attention from schools in the Carolinas.

“I’m from Mississippi, so I grew up liking Ole Miss, but I grew out of that as I got older” he said. “I’m hearing from Clemson a lot. I got an offer from Clemson and N.C. State. UNC is on the map and South Carolina is too.”

As a junior, Gibson had 70 tackles, four interceptions, two interceptions for touchdowns, and a kickoff returned for a touchdown.

Gibson said that the Tigers sit on top at this point in the recruiting process and he hopes to make a decision before his senior year.

“Clemson, South Carolina, N. C. State, and UNC are my top-four,” he said. “I want to make a decision before my senior year, hopefully. But, only if it comes to me.”

Gibson has made two trips to Clemson and hopes make it back for Junior Day in January.
