on the other side of the field, I still expect Peters to get tested often. However, if he plays like he did this past weekend then the secondary will be a strength.
Hopper had two long touchdown receptions against North Carolina. Like Peters, I expect big things from Hopper moving forward.

*During the games I try to watch the lines of scrimmage but often times end of following the football. When I go back and watch the tape of the game I try to notice every aspect. In both cases it’s easy to see why

gets such rave reviews from the staff. He plays with great leverage and great technique but, more than anything else, he alsoplays with great effort. Clemson is fortunate to have a lot of talent and depth at defensive tackle, but it’s easy to see why Jarrett is the headliner.

deserves a lot of the nice things that are being said about him. However, Clemson's second best freshman is Mackensie Alexander. The red-shirt freshman corner has had a terrific start to his career. Alexander did give up a few plays Saturday against the Tar Heels but he has played well and his intensity has been a blessing.
*It is obvious the running game has struggled so far this season. In my opinion the offensive line is not physical and doesn't play with a nasty streak. The tight ends have been a major disappointment in the run game. The running backs' limitations contribute a lot to this as well. If Clemson wants to run the ball better it will need better blocking up front and I think they will need to find more consistent play at running back. At this point I see DJ Howard as a back that lacks vision, has a hard time making people miss and doesn't break tackles.

to running back will be a fix. It’s clear to me that someone will have to step up because the running game is suffering and it’s hard to win games with a decent running game.
*Speaking of the running game, I can't see Clemson running the table if the run game doesn't improve. Watson has been fantastic and the passing game is dangerous, but at some point Clemson will have to run the ball better. There will be a couple of occasions this season where the Tigers will have to depend on the running game and at this point I just don't see how a 10-2 finish is possible without more productivity here.
*Finally, depth is once again a factor at right tackle.
