Mickey,

I just read the article about recruiting on y’alls web page and it said that Albert Huggins is the lone remaining target for this years class. Does this mean that the coaches have officially given up on Settle, Campbell and Tuttle? And if so, why?

Brad

Brad,

Huggins is still on the board and a high priority. According to everyone I talk to this should be a Clemson-Georgia battle. Clemson is not high on Tim Settle moving forward. I think there some issues there. The same can be said for Shy Tuttle. George Campbell is a terrific prospect but at this point Clemson likes Deon Cain and Ray Ray McCloud III more. Remember they cannot afford to cause any friction with the ones that are already committed to them at this point. The other major factor is the scholarships are limited. Some will open up like they have with Shaq AnthonyShaq Anthony

is extremely conservative when it comes to that number.

Mickey,

Please tell me we will not lay an egg like our feathered friends from Columbia did last night. I did not see that one coming.

Matt

Matt,

I told family and friends I thought A&M would beat South Carolina. The Aggies have recruited very well and I am not sure that was the case for South Carolina. Both teams lost some superstars. Texas A&M lost three of the top 15 players in the NFL draft last year but they have replaced those players better than South Carolina has. This is a bad draw for South Carolina in the future. As far as Saturday night goes, I don't see either team blowing out the other. I expect a close low scoring game but this is the season opener and you never know about a team until you actually see them on the field.

Mickey,

What does the ACC have against us in basketball. That basketball schedule is brutal once again.

Steve

Steve,

I think we better get used to this. With Louisville coming into the league to join Syracuse and the rest of the traditional powers in the conference, the schedule is going to be tough from now on. I just don't see that changing anytime soon. Sorry.

Mickey,

Any word on the baseball renovations? Will they be ready for next season? Thanks. Enjoy your show and blog.

Tim

Tim,

The new premium seats will be ready by opening day next year. The bad news is the rest of the facility upgrades won't be ready in time for the season. Like many projects this one has hit a few issues and delays.

Mick,

I heard you predict a Clemson win over South Carolina one day last week on your show. I thought you were crazy then but after last night's game I am a believer once again. Hope you are correct. Go Tigers!

Harris

Harris,

I think Clemson is the better team and the game is at home. However, a lot can change between now and the end of November. Football has a long season and there will be many highs and lows between now and the 12th regular season game.
