Tigers get commitment from one of the Grayson Trio

The first member of the Grayson Trio says he will now call Clemson home, and it’s his hope that it isn’t a solo act but that the trio can be reunited in Clemson.

Gallman, who also held offers from Auburn, Georgia, Georgia Tech, South Carolina and Vanderbilt, said he talked to Swinney Tuesday night.

“I talked to Coach Swinney. When I called him, Coach [Chad] Morris was on the phone,” Gallman told TigerNet. “I just told him that I was all in and that I was ready to commit. He was really fired up and excited. Coach Morris told me that I have to get ready and be prepared to play because I’m going to see the field when I get there.”

Gallman said now was the perfect time to make his decision.

“I just knew it was time for me to commit,” he said. “I knew deep down in my heart that Clemson is where I wanted to be and I was ready to make that commitment. I love everything. The whole campus. The coaches and the entire coaching staff. All of the football players. The education system. The facilities. I just love everything about Clemson. I’ve thought about playing with Tajh [Boyd] and Sammy [Watkins] and those guys a lot, actually. That’s something that really excites me.”

When asked what kind of player the Tigers were getting, he was quick to respond.

“I am a player that’s going to give his all on every play. I don’t give up and I am going to go hard on every play.”

Now, he says he will turn his attention to his two teammates.

“Of course I’ve talked to them, and I’m definitely recruiting them now,” he said. “They are really happy for me and excited that I chose Clemson. We’ve talked about their commitments. Although, I know that they will do what’s best for them, I’d be really happy if they came to Clemson.”
