Atlanta, GA-Clemson offensive coordinator Rob Spence has been named national offensive coordinator of the week by Master Football Coaches of Atlanta, GA. Each week during the season the 17 Master Football Coaches committee awards an MCS Game Ball to the top offensive and defensive coordinator whose game plans made the biggest impact on their team's victory.

Spence guided the Tiger offense to 52 points in the 52-7 victory over North Carolina last Saturday, Clemson's largest victory margin in history over the Tar Heels. The Tigers gained 324 yards rushing, Clemson's high total in an ACC game in five years. Clemson had 504 yards of total offense. For the year, Clemson leads the ACC in total offense, rushing offense, third down conversion and first downs.

Jim Heacock of Ohio State was the national defensive coordinator of the week.
