With one week to go until signing day, here is a capsule look at Clemson's known football committments for the current recruiting class.

2008 Clemson Tiger Football Commitments

Signed Letter of Intent and enrolled at Clemson

Spencer Benton

Height: 6'3"

Weight: 190 lbs

Position: Kicker

High School: Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Beach, SC)

For his high school career, Spencer made 11 of 18 field goals,

with a long of 49, and 81 of 86 extra points. During his junior

year, Benton kicked 24 touchbacks on kickoffs. Meanwhile, his

punting average in high school was 38.2 yards.

DaQuan Bowers

Height: 6'4"

Weight: 267 lbs

Position: Strongside Defensive End

High School: Bamberg-Ehrhardt (Bamberg, SC)

Rated as the #1 recruit in the country by ESPN 150. Bowers

recorded 100 tackles (33 for loss) and 15 sacks his senior

season. He also rushed for over 1200 yards and 22 touchdowns

as a senior. Bowers was named MVP of the 2008 Under Armour All-American Game.

Stanley Hunter

Height: 5'11"

Weight: 205 lbs

Position: Outside Linebacker

High School: James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC)

Rated as the #28 outside linebacker in the class of 2007 according

to Rivals.com. Hunter recordede 102 tackles (41 for loss), 20 sacks

and four recovered fumbles as a senior at Byrnes. Hunter enrolled

at a community college in 2007 to help him qualify.

Marquan Jones

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 173 lbs

Position: Wide Receiver

High School: Blythewood (Blythewood, SC)

As a junior, Jones caught 92 passes for 1551 yards and 21 touchdowns.

His 16.9 yards per catch helped Blythewood High School win a 3-A

State Championship in their first year of existence under former

Head Coach Jeff Scott (son of Clemson Offensive Line Coach Brad Scott).

Kyle Parker

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 188 lbs

Position: Quarterback

High School: Bartram Trail (Jacksonville, FL)

Kyle Parker was an Elite 11 Quarterback. He played in the 2008 Under Armour

All-American Game and was given the award for "Biggest Surprise". Parker

has enrolled and will play baseball at Clemson as a backup catcher during the

2008 season. He is expected the redshirt.

Tarik Rollins

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 187 lbs.

Position: Outside Linebacker

High School: Chaminade Madonna (Hollywood, FL)

Rivals.com has Rollins rated at the #35 linebacker recruit in the nation.

As a junior, Rollins recorded 75 tackles along with five sacks. He also

had five interceptions and three fumble recoveries.

Committed

Spencer Adams

Height: 6'2"

Weight: 180 lbs

Position: Safety

High School: Butler (Matthews, NC)

At the 2007 Shrine Bowl, Adams ran a 4.21 40-yard dash which was the best

of the day. As a junior, Adams recorded 105 tackles and 2 interceptions.

He also ran track in high school, setting a North Carolina State Record in

the 300-meter Hurdles with a time of 36.04 seconds. Adams participated

in the Under Armour All-American Game in January.

Daniel Andrews

Height: 6'0"

Weight: 192 lbs

Position: Safety

High School: Trinity Christian (Jacksonville, FL)

Daniel Andrews recorded 168 tackles and four interceptions during his junior

and senior seasons at Trinity Christian HS. Andrews received offers from

Florida and Miami (FL) as well.

Xavier Brewer

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 169 lbs

Position: Cornerback

High School: Bartram Trail (Jacksonville, FL)

Xavier Brewer recorded 73 tackles and six interceptions as a junior at

Bartram Trail HS in Jacksonville, FL. He was a teammate of Clemson recruit

Kyle Parker. He is rated at the 25th best cover-corner recruit in the nation.

Brewer also played in the Under Armour All-American Game with Parker.

Jarrett Crittenton

Height: 6'6"

Weight: 275 lbs

Position: Strongside Defensive End

High School: North Dakota State College of Science (JUCO) (Whapeton, ND)

Jarrett Crittenton is a JUCO standout at North Dakota State College of Science.

He is labeled at the #27 JUCO recruit as he made approximately 35-50 tackles

and six sacks as a freshman. He will have two years of eligibility at Clemson.

Andre Ellington

Height: 5'10"

Weight: 170 lbs

Position: Running Back

High School: Berkeley (Moncks Corner, SC)

As a senior, Ellington ran the ball 264 times for 1822 yards for an average

of 6.9 yards per carry. He scored 24 rushing touchdowns. The dynamic running

back also caught 14 passes for 147 yards and two touchdowns. He returned 13

punts for 276 yards and one touchdown. Ellington also returned nine kickoffs

for 274 yards and one touchdown. He also participated in the Under Armour All-American Game.

Brandon Ford

Height: 6?4?

Weight: 205 lbs

Position: Wide Receiver

High School: Hanahan (Hanahan, SC)

As a junior, Brandon Ford caught 63 passes for 651 yards and seven touchdowns.

As a senior, Ford caught 69 passes for 1522 yards and 20 touchdowns during the regular season.

Dalton Freeman

Height: 6?6?

Weight: 270 lbs

Position: Offensive Lineman (Guard)

High School: Pelion (Pelion HS)

Freeman played for his father Ben Freeman at Pelion High School. Dalton

is rated as the 14th best Offensive Guard recruit in the nation.

Rashard Hall

Height: 6?2?

Weight: 190 lbs

Position: Safety

High School: St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL)

Rashard Hall recorded 122 tackles and nine interceptions during his junior

and senior seasons at St. Augustine HS. Two of his nine interceptions

were returned for touchdowns. He also was a receiver in high school, recording

58 catches for nearly 800 yards and eight touchdowns. He also returned a punt

for a touchdown.

Carlton Lewis

Height: 6?3?

Weight: 190 lbs

Position: Safety

High School: St. Augustine (St. Augustine, FL)

As a senior, Carlton Lewis played both Safety and Wide Receiver, just like his

teammate Rashard Hall. Lewis recorded 47 tackles, one interception, two fumble

recoveries and a blocked punt his senior year. He also had 39 receptions for

760 yards and eight touchdowns as a receiver.

Kenneth Page

Height: 6?4?

Weight: 293 lbs

Position: Offensive Lineman (Guard)

High School: A.C. Flora (Columbia, SC)

Kenneth Page is ranked the 9th best Offensive Guard recruit in the country.

He played in the Under Armour All-American Game in January. Page became the

third nationally rated recruit out of the Midlands of South Carolina to commit

to Clemson, joining Marquan Jones (Blythewood) and Dalton Freeman (Pelion).

Jon Richt

Height: 6?2?

Weight: 185 lbs

Position: Quarterback

High School: Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA)

Jon Richt, son of current Georgia Head Coach Mark Richt, became the second

quarterback commitment to the Tigers, joining Kyle Parker of Jacksonville, FL.

Like Parker, Richt is also an Elite 11 Quarterback. During his junior season,

Richt threw for over 1600 yards.

Matt Sanders

Height: 6?4?

Weight: 293 lbs

Position: Offensive Lineman (Guard)

High School: Crestview (Crestview, FL)

Matt Sanders was Tallahassee Nike Camp participant and received offers from

Duke, Iowa State, NC State and Purdue along with Clemson.

Matt Skinner

Height: 6?7?

Weight: 230 lbs

Position: Athlete

High School: Bolles (Jacksonville, FL)

Matt Skinner played Offensive Line and Tight End at Bolles HS in Jacksonville.

He expects to take over the long-snapper position at Clemson, among competing for other positions.

Brandon Thompson

Height: 6?2?

Weight: 291 lbs

Position: Defensive Tackle

High School: Thomasville (Thomasville, GA)

As a senior, Brandon Thompson recorded 102 tackles (19 for loss) and 12 sacks.

As a junior, Thompson had 51 tackles (nine for loss) and five sacks. Thompson

also participated in the Under Armour All-American Game in January, giving Clemson

seven recruits so far who have played in this game. He received offers from

Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, LSU, Ohio State, South Carolina, Tennessee and others.

Jonathan Willard

Height: 6?2?

Weight: 203 lbs

Position: Outside Linebacker

High School: Loris (Loris, SC)

Jonathan Willard is a multi-sport athlete having competed in football, wrestling

and track and field in high school. As a senior, Willard recorded 94 tackles

and two fumble recoveries in just six games. He also rushed for 741 yards and

nine touchdowns and threw a touchdown on a halfback option pass. As a junior,

Willard registered 130 tackles (14 for loss) and two sacks. He rushed for nearly

700 yards and seven touchdowns. He also caught eight passes for 100 yards.

Dawson Zimmerman

Height: 6?2?

Weight: 195 lbs

Position: Kicker

High School: Brookwood (Snellville, GA)

Dawson Zimmerman broke Jason Elam?s high school record with a 74-yard punt as a

junior. He participated in an event a combine and led all kickers with an average

of 5.89 yards deep into the endzone on kickoffs from the 35-yard line. He also had

the longest punt ? 55 yards ? with a hang time of 4.7 seconds.
