We established a running game this week after having a poor performance last week. The players did well from the beginning. We turned it over early, but rebounded and hopefully we will learn from it."

"The offensive line played well today. The biggest thing was that they learned to work together. Last week they saw the level of intensity they needed to have as we go into conference play."

"Michael Hamlin is a smart player. He had three interceptions which tied the school record today. Vic Koenning had a good plan putting him in the middle so that he could read the quarterback. He's a great player and leader for us."

"Citadel's quarterback Bart Blanchard did a great job under pressure today. He not only passed well, but ran well too. He did an excellent job of managing the offense."
