Pilgrim's Parents, Grandparents Involved in Auto Accident

by -

CLEMSON - The parents and grandparents of Clemson rising senior offensive guard Brandon Pilgrim were involved in an automobile

accident on Saturday as they drove to Clemson for the school's spring football game.

All involved were taken to the Oconee Memorial Hospital in Seneca.

The accident took place on Highway 11 in South Carolina on Saturday morning. Brandon Pilgrim was made aware of the accident

prior to the Clemson Spring Game and immediately drove to the hospital. He obviously did not play in the Spring Game Saturday

afternoon.

Clemson Head Coach Tommy Bowden went to the hospital to be with Brandon after Clemson's Spring Game.

"We are certainly praying for Brandon and his family," said Bowden. "I made the team aware of what

had taken place after the game."
