Quotes from Tommy Bowden

How much will you show Saturday?

It will be more than 10 percent. You can?t do too much because of injuries and then you divide up so you have to be selective.

Is the Spring Game more for the fans?

You sill have to go out there and play football. It is the closet thing to game day that we do all spring. You still see guys perform and who the playmakers are and things like that so it is not as technical, but this is as close as we will get to in a game.

What do you want to see come out of Saturday?

I hope we don?t get anyone hurt coming out of it.

What do you do to prevent injuries?

None. Say a prayer. There isn?t much you can do because the NCAA restricts certain days you can take them to the ground.

The Spring Game will be divided up into two teams and will be played in more of a traditional format.

?We tried to make it fan friendly,? Bowden said. ?So it will be divided up. The only thing that is difficult to do, with no seniors, no freshmen here and the numbers, is the special teams.?

Clemson?s annual spring game for so long has been nicknamed the Orange and White Game but the team will be broken up into Orange and Purple teams, and the kicking game will be generic.

Harper and Korn will be on separate teams Saturday, but Bowden said Spence should decide today how many reps Korn and Reese will get with the second team on Saturday.
