Miami at Clemson kickoff set for noon on ESPN2 |
GREENSBORO, N.C. - The Miami at Clemson game scheduled for this Saturday will kick off at noon, the ACC announced Sunday morning. The Atlantic Coast Conference Sunday announced the following game times and networks for the games of Oct. 2. All times are Eastern. In addition to the Miami-Clemson game being televised on ESPN2, it will also be offered in 3-D by the network. This is the fifth ACC game to be announced as televised in its new 3-D format for this year including the Dr Pepper ACC Championship Game on Dec. 4. Saturday, Oct. 2 Miami at Clemson, ESPN2 & ESPN 3-D, 12 noon Florida State at Virginia, ACC Network, 12 noon Virginia Tech at NC State, ABC, 3:30 pm East Carolina at North Carolina, ESPN3.com, 3:30 pm (previously announced) Duke at Maryland, ESPN3.com, 6 pm (previously announced) Georgia Tech at Wake Forest, ESPNU, 7 pm (game time previously announced) Notre Dame at Boston College, ABC, 8 pm (game time previously announced) ESPN3.com is ESPN’s video streaming platform The Canes are 2-1 on the season and coming off are resounding 31-3 win on the road at BIG EAST preseason-favorite Pitt. Saturday will mark the ninth meeting between the schools with UM holding a 5-3 advantage in the all-time series. The last three meetings between the schools have been decided in overtime. Each time the road team gained victory. Clemson won at Miami 40-37 in one overtime last season. The Tigers also won in one overtime in 2004 and Miami won at Death Valley in three overtimes in 2005.
