Leroy Hill 50-50 for Wake Forest Game

by - Correspondent -

CLEMSON -- After practice on Tuesday Tommy Bowden announced that All-American linebacker

Leroy Hill sprained an ankle during practice on Monday. Bowden said waited to report the injury today to

see how Hill responded to treatment. Hill was unable to practice today and is currently

being listed as 50-50 for the Wake Forest game. Bowden plans to hold him out of practice on Wednesday

and then evaluate his status for the Wake Forest game after Thursday's practice.

Bowden also said that wide receiver Michael Collins, offensive guard Chip Myrick and defensive end Vontrell Jamison were medically cleared to play against Wake Forest, but he was not sure how much they would play due to all the time they had missed due to injury during the preseason.

More on this and other practice news later tonight from Dan Scott.
