• Career long run for James Davis 64 yards. Longest run for Clemson since a 65-
yard run from Charlie Whitehurst last season vs. Miami (FL). It was the longest
run by a running back since Raymond Priester went 65 yards in 1996.

• 5th 100 yard rushing game for James Davis in his career.

• 4th consecutive game with at least 2 touchdowns for James Davis and ninth
straight game with at least one touchdown.

• The kickoff return by Jacoby Ford was the first time Clemson returned a kickoff
for a touchdown since Justin Miller against Florida State in 2004.

• The interception return for a touchdown by Nick Watkins was the first since Eric
Coleman vs. N.C. State in 2004.

• Jacoby Ford is the first person in Clemson history to have a punt and kickoff
return for a touchdown of over 90 yards in his career.

• Tonight’s game was the first time Clemson has had two backs run for over 100
yards since 2002 vs. North Carolina. Bernard Rambert and Tye Hill were the
running backs.

• Has scored at least 50 points in 3 straight home games since the last two home
games in the 1950 season and the first game of the 1951 season. It is the first
time that Clemson has had three 50 point games at home in the same season.

back-to-back 300 yard rushing games. That year they had three in a row. The
393 rushing yards were the most by a Clemson team since 2000 when Clemson
rushed for 436 yards against Wake Forest.

• This was the first game since 1982 that three Clemson running backs have rushed
for over 100 yards in a game. Cliff Austin, Jeff McCall, and Chuck McSwain
were the running backs that did so at Virginia in 1982. Tonight, Davis, Spiller,
and Demerick Chancellor each had over 100 yards.

• Demerick Chancellor had his first 100-yard rushing effort as a Tiger. He did so
on 11 carries (113 yards total).
