was back on Clemson’s campus Saturday afternoon as the Tigers defeated N.C. State 62-48 in the last conference game of the season.

as Clemson verbals from one of the top programs in the state of Georgia. Shortly thereafter, Kamara’s good friend and the nation’s No. 1 recruit – Robert Nkemdiche Robert Nkemdiche

– gave his verbal to the Tigers as well.

Nkemdiche’s recruitment took a turn when he de-committed from the Tigers a few weeks ago, and took visits to Ole Miss, where his older brother Denzel plays. Not long after that, Kamara also withdrew his verbal and took a visit to Ole Miss, and Saturday’s visit was the first time he had spoken with the Clemson coaches in person since making that decision.

Kamara said he spent time with recruiter Tony ElliottTony Elliott

, and they all had the same message for the 3-star prospect.

“It was good to get back up there,” Kamara told TigerNet Monday evening. “We just talked about me being up there. We talked about my decision, and they told to make the right decision for me. They just wanted to make sure that I get everything right. It was just a great atmosphere, and it was great to be around the coaches and the players and see Coach Venables.”

Clemson’s defensive backs struggled in the win over the Pack, and Kamara said he took notice.

“I could see myself going to Clemson and being able to play early,” he said. “But I know I would have to work hard when I got there.”

Kamara said he has tried to tune out all of the negativity on his Twitter and Facebook accounts as he struggles with a decision that will change his life.

“I don’t think they [fans] understand what we go through in the recruiting process,” he said. “They say a lot of things and you just have to ignore it. But they are going to say bad things about you regardless. Sometimes it gets to you, because you know how you are feeling. But I just have to focus on what I do when I put on the pads.”

Kamara said he doesn’t have a leader at this point and doesn’t know when he will make a decision.

“Honestly, I am not sure right now. The latest will be on signing day,” he said. “Right now, I just wanna get past this season. And there are no leaders right now, I am still looking at everybody.”
