has kicked three field goals, and is now 4-for-5 this season on field goals from 40-plus yards. He is also 8-for-10 overall on the season.

What went wrong:

The defense has made Boston College receiver Bobby Swigert look like an All-Pro, and missed several tackles on Boston College’s touchdown drive.

Also, Boyd has thrown at least three passes into double or triple coverage, and has just avoided being picked off twice. He needs to make better decisions in the second half.

Turning Point of the Half :

Clemson looked like they might blow Boston College away early, but Boston College held the Tigers to a field goal midway through the second quarter and then went on an 80-yard drive that keeps them in the ballgame.

Stat of the Half: The Tigers have 16 first downs, 295 total yards and have scored on five of six first half possessions and have just 23 points to show for it.
