hit both of his field goal attempts.

What went wrong: The defense still can’t stop a running quarterback as Conner Shaw ran circles around the Clemson defense.

dropped a sure touchdown pass from Boyd that would have given the Tigers some early momentum.

Clemson’s tackling at the point of attack is atrocious.

kicked a ball out of bounds and gave the Gamecocks good field position. Then Carolina converted a fourth down play. Then Shaw ran it in for a touchdown on a play where it looked like he wasn’t touched.

Turning Point of the Game:The Tigers had just tied the score at 10 on a Chandler Catanzaro field goal, but Spencer Benton’s kickoff went out of bounds and South Carolina took over at their own 40-yard line. They scored a touchdown and recaptured the momentum and Clemson never got it back.

Stats of the Game: After Clemson failed to convert on fourth down late in the fourth quarter, Chad Morris’ offense had just 156 total yards and 12 first downs. Meanwhile, the Gamecocks had over 200 yards rushing and over 200 yards through the air, beating the Tigers' overall yardage in both categories.
