Milan Richard The 6-3, 228-pound tight end from Calvary Day School in Savannah took his official visit last weekend along with a handful of other committed prospects, and he said that his future teammates are already becoming family. “It was great. I had a good time, and I hung out with a lot of people,” Richard told TigerNet earlier this week. “We got a lot closer, and I can tell we are really becoming a family. I hung out with

We haven’t got to spend a lot of time together until this weekend,” Richard said. “When we would come to the games, you come in and go to the game and then part ways that same day. This time, it was good just being for there for two or three days. Richard was able to sit down with the other offensive coaches to further understand what they expect when he steps foot on campus in late June. “I spent a lot of time with Coach (Chad) Morris, Coach Pearman and Coach (Jeff) Scott,” Richard said. “With Coach Morris, we mainly just talked about the position and what it entails. He wants me to come in and be as prepared as possible.” Hard work and preparation won’t be a problem for the Georgia native. “I am going to come in and work hard in the weight room and pick up the offense as fast as I can,” Richard said. “I’ve already told the coaches they can use me wherever they see fit.” As a senior, Richard had 29 catches for 502 yards and five touchdowns.
