View Full Profile is capable of being a superstar, but that hasn't stopped the Clemson commit from proving to the world just what he can do on the gridiron.

The 4-star Bradenton (FL) IMG Academy wide receiver recently competed in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge and he traveled to Baltimore with one goal in mind - prove the doubters wrong.

Chase told TigerNet recently that feels like he has been snubbed by the recruiting services and that he wanted to put his best foot forward during his time at the elite camp.

"I was going in there feeling like I was the underdog, because of the rankings and all of the other stuff," Chase told TigerNet last week. "As I was going through the recruiting process with the rankings I felt like I was the underdog and I felt like I needed to get invited to this camp to show everybody what I can do."

The 6-2, 182-pounder caught 25 passes for 521 yards and five scores as junior, but said every time he steps on the field he assumes the underdog role. However, that was especially true at the Rivals Challenge because he wanted to show that he can compete with the best of the best.

"I've always had a chip on my shoulder, but I feel like I've done enough to earn a fifth star," Chase said.

All in all, Chase said he was pleased with his performance and accomplished his goal.

"I feel like I performed like a five-star. I wish I would've been able to finish the entire 7-on-7 day, because I would've been able to show what I can do even more, but I still think I did enough," he said. "Competing in the camp, you can't take any reps off because you're competing against the best. You have to use your technique and do everything to the best of your ability."

What's next for 2016 Clemson commit?

"I'll be at Clemson for the All In Cookout. I talk to the coaches all of the time about football and off the field stuff," he said. "Coach [Jeff] Scott always tells me handle my business and just make plays, so I can get to Clemson."
