CLEMSON –The Chicago Bears selected former Clemson wide receiver Airese Currie with the 5th pick of the fifth round (#140 overall). Currie was the 20th wide receiver taken in the NFL Draft.

Currie led the ACC in receptions and reception yards per game last season. Currie was the first Clemson player to lead the ACC in receptions per game since Perry Tuttle in 1980.
