View Full Profile told TigerNet Sunday afternoon that he is one step closer to making a decision following his official visit to Clemson this weekend.

The visit to Clemson was the fourth official visit for the New Smyrna Beach High School (FL) standout, who said the visit was all he could have hoped for.

“The visit was great. I loved the people, the coaches, the academic staff and the facilities,” Clark said. “It was great. I got to see all the facilities and the academic center, and then I got to hang out with a lot of the players and the coaches.”

Clark said the Clemson coaches told him he would have an opportunity to play as a freshman.

“I talked to Coach [Dabo] Swinney before I left, and he told me about the opportunities I would have,” he said. “We talked about where I fit into the future at Clemson.”

“He was a great host,” Clark said. “We woke up on Saturday and had breakfast together, and then we got a tour of the facilities. Then we had a presentation and then I went in and talked to Coach Swinney.”

Clark told TigerNet that Swinney will visit him in Florida this week – either Tuesday or Thursday – and he wants to talk to Swinney further about the chance to play at Clemson.

Clark said that Clemson, Florida, Northwestern, Nebraska and Ohio St. top his list of leaders. He was supposed to visit Florida next weekend, but now says he doesn’t know if he will take the visit. He chose between Ohio St. and Clemson for the visit this past weekend, but chose Clemson, a decision he is glad he made.

“This weekend showed me a lot,” he said. “I don’t know about the Florida visit. I don’t know what I am going to do.”

The 5-11, 175-pounder is rated as the No. 47 wide receiver in the nation by ESPN. As a senior, he caught 49 passes 1,112 yards and eight touchdowns. As a junior, he caught 28 passes for 576 yards and five touchdowns. He also used his speed to return four punts for touchdowns.
