For the third straight season, the Clemson basketball team has earned
a national ranking in the polls. The Tigers were tabbed #25 in the Dec. 15
rankings by both the Associated Press and the ESPN/USA Today coaches’
poll. The following week, one day after defeating preseason #16 Miami,
the Tigers jumped to #20 in the coaches’ poll and #22 in the AP.

This week the Tigers moved up to #16 in the ESPN/USA Today coaches’ poll and #20 in the Associated Press rankings.

This marks only the second time in Clemson history the Tigers have
been ranked in three straight seasons. Clemson was actually ranked in
five straight seasons from 1994-99.
