Basic Terms of Brownell's Contract

Clemson head basketball coach Brad Brownell's contract is not yet drafted, but the basic terms of the agreement were approved by Clemson's Board of Trustees on April 16, 2010:

Six year term

Buyout from Wright State (one time) - $ 25,000

Base Salary - $245,000

Guaranteed Outside Income
(or Supplemental Pay) - $655,000

Total Annual Cash Compensation - $900,000 (Before Bonuses)

Performance Bonus Structure to be determined

Liquidated damages for both parties to be 25% of total compensation
