2016: Shared Special Teams Defensive Player of the Year honors with Chad Smith ... had 24 tackles in 106 snaps (15 games) ... tied Smith for team lead with 10 special teams tackles ... posted five tackles, including a special teams stop, in 37 snaps against SC State ... had special teams stop in win over Louisville ... saw eight snaps of action at Boston College, with two tackles ... special teams player-of-the-game against Syracuse with two tackles in coverage ... returned first career interception for a touchdown in the same game, Clemson’s first freshman to earn a “pick six” since Wayne Simmons at Florida State in 1989 ... had two special teams tackles at Wake Forest ... had five tackles in 20 snaps, including one on special teams, against South Carolina ... played seven snaps at safety and posted two tackles, including one on special teams, against Alabama in the National Championship Game.

Before Clemson: No. 17 player in North Carolina by Rivals.com ... had eight interceptions in his last three seasons ... had 150 tackles and four interceptions along with 1,292 yards on 90 carries, including six 100-yard rushing games, and seven receptions for 150 yards as a senior ... first-team all-state as a defensive player ...
