CLEMSON -- The Clemson University Marching Band -- The Band That Shakes The Southland --will continue the 90 Minutes Before Kickoff concerts and pep rallies at the Outdoor Theatre in the center of campus before each home football game.

One-and-a-half hours before each home football game, Clemson faithful can look forward to hearing school favorites as well as selections from the season's halftime shows. Near the end of each mini-concert, the Clemson cheerleaders will join the band for a pre-game pep rally.

Following 90 Minutes Before Kickoff, the Tiger Band will march through the heart of campus, traveling from the Outdoor Theatre down Fort Hill Street to Memorial Stadium.

Dates and times for 90 Minutes Before Kickoff events in September are:

TIGER BAND KIDZ KLUB ON THE MARCH

The Clemson University Tiger Band is opening its ranks to kids. The band, known for its dynamic sound, precision marching and entertaining shows, is inviting children, ages

1 to 13, to take part in the Tiger Band Kidz Klub and march along with Tiger Band. Membership is free.

Kids and their parents can be a part of the excitement of Tiger Band during the 2004 band season. The first meeting takes place Friday, Sept. 10, at 5 p.m. on the band practice field, located at the corner of Perimeter and Cherry roads next to the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts parking lot. Subsequent meetings will be held during the band's regular Friday evening rehearsals before each home football game.

Kidz Klub members can meet the musicians, see instrument demonstrations and participate in some band activities.

Tiger fans and their families who are in town on Friday evenings, as well as families in the Clemson community, are invited to participate.

Additional 2004 Kids Klub meetings will be held Friday, Oct.

6, 15, 22, 29 and Nov. 12 and 19.
