Are they really going to take a TD off the board for celebration?

Im all for moving the penalty to the kickoff so the yards mean something, but calling back a TD is a complete crock.

Actually, the TD will come back only if the celebrating/taunting happens before the ball carrier crosses the goal line.

so, hopefully, we are coaching that you run to the back of the endzone with the ball completely secured, you turn, find the ref, hand him the ball, and get to the sideline.

It served CJ well . . . act like you've been there, don't hurt the team, don't make it a judgement call by Ron Cherry and Co. because we will get screwed every time.

According to a new NCAA rule, any action deemed "very demonstrative" or "taunting" before a player crosses the goal line will result in no touchdown and a 15-yard penalty from the spot of the foul.

No high stepping in the EZ or dragging of the feet. Will cost you a TD!!!

I can see an imaginary celebration called against us....

This new celebration rule is pure horse####

It's one thing if a guy taunts the other team while in the endzone, but to call a TD back (or call a penalty at ALL) for doing a personal signature move like a salute or a point to the sky, that's just ridiculous. Bellamy has his signature move where he does the superman as he is crossing the goal-line. I'm guessing he won't be able to do that, and if he does that will be called back.

RIDICULOUS.

New celebration rule + all the expansion going on makes me want to puke. That's all for now.

Agreed. Celebration rule is gay! And they dont inforce it on SEC teams. Garcia and the Tennessee QB get away with saluting. I mean why do such a stupid rule. I simply hate it. Pure joke of a rule. I wish they would get rid of it so they can do all that. Makes the game so much funner!

That was a pretty throw by Stoudt. Don't let palmettoson see that, we'll have a new QB controversy.
