You know how hard it had to be for AE to watch us go down in flames last season while he had to sit and watch.

That toe injury may have saved Clemson.

Just look at the difference Morris brings as an OC compared to Napier. Napier was drowning.

Napier was a quickly decomposing corpse floating in a soup-like sea of suck.

Point for you. Best Napier analogy I've heard in awhile!***

Screw Calford.

I feel bad for laughing (because he was a nice enough guy)

but that, right there, is some funny ####.

Agree, I feel bad for him too. He obviously wasn't ready for

Aug 11, 2011, 3:30 PM

what he was hired for.

I hold no ill will and wish him all the best in the future, but there's no argument that we deserve (and now have) better.

can someone with medical knowledge explain exactly what

Aug 11, 2011, 3:39 PM

his injury was. Where in the foot, what is done to repair it. How common is this injury? Similar in nature to CJ's injury?

We seemingly have had a lot foot injuries and leg injuries. Do we have the best shoes money can buy?

No we do not because we're not wearing adidas...

Aug 11, 2011, 4:25 PM

Nike may have the pro combat and all that crap, but their cleats can not hold a candle to adidas' football and soccer cleats.

Podiatrist told me once

as long as Nike makes shoes, he'll be in business.

If common sense had prevailed, AE should have had

Aug 11, 2011, 4:01 PM

50% more touches and yards than he did at the point that happened. I still shake my head at Harper and AE calling their own subs. It's a new year though, and I couldn't be happier.

No Chit

Aug 11, 2011, 4:09 PM

but Clemson staffs have been plagued with many poor decisions over the past 13 years or so. Her is to hoping all of that is changing

We do Chicken right...it's not just for frying anymore!

Agree completely. I really hope that AE is a true

Aug 11, 2011, 4:11 PM

feature back in this system and doesn't get mixed in too much with Bellamy. Bellamy's time is definitely gonna come, but AE should be the man this season.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

AE should STILL be racking up yards in Chapel Hill.

Aug 11, 2011, 10:49 PM [ in reply to If common sense had prevailed, AE should have had ]

As I remember, this was the Ellington/Harper boiling point.

Has he been in the training room this preseason because that seems to where he spends most of his time.
