Typical national media blabber. They obviously haven't researched our 2 deep at DE. Goodman, Branch and Brown are no slouches. Not saying Clowney wouldn't definately help and certainly add depth, but given Crawford, Byers and others we just signed I would call it a "real need".

I'd say his odds of seeing a Conference Championship at Clemson is much more reasonable than one at sc. Surely he is smart enough to realize this. We will see on Monday, and I hope he chooses wisely. He would make another great Tiger 1st round draft pick DE. Chicken or Tiger - the choice is his.

You're right. If it isn't Clemson, it should be Alabama, no question about it. Why would anyone choose the coots? There can be no good reason, unless they are paid, that a kid with good sense would give them a second thought. Look in his garage after signing day.
