The dude was scared he couldn't make his mark at Clemson the way his father did. He problely watched some film on his father at Clemson and knew he wasn't good enough to fill his fathers shoes.

Who cares Jay Rome is a terrible TE. He deff missed alot of blocks and catches in the Under Armour Bowl. I know thats only one game but dang... Dude isn't that good.

He seems to have quite an attitude toward Clemson. Don't know what his problem is, but it will be his loss. Good luck in Athens to him, and I hope none of our other rcruits are foolish enough to listen to him. There is nothing good in ugay for them. Their coach probably will be replaced while they're there, and it will be a start over with somebody who didn't choose them for Rome and their other recruits.
