Love that quote, "...all that fear left me."

Ha! We know Hulk fears no man (with the exception of Jack Bauer).

proctor to complete a pass to him.

Since all you do is rip on Proctor,

Dec 19, 2006, 6:59 AM

why don't you suit up and show us how easy it is to be a QB with a defense out there doing all they can to stop you and a DC on the other sideline (or coach's box depending on the preference of the coach) wholly focused on making you look bad?

Until then, how about lay off Proctor, please.

Oh please, I didn't see anywhere in that post

where he said playing QB in D-1 was easy or that he could do it better than Proctor. We all understand that it's the toughest position to play in football, but as fans, we want him to perform better... mainly because earlier in the year, he showed us he can.

So get off of that "you do it" cr@p.

Re: I never said that I could play Quarterback

That is a horrible defense to hide proctor behind. Thats like telling someone who voted for Kerry, "You try being George Bush and the President of the United States of America!" I dont have the credentials to play football, Im simply a fan who expects his quarterback to complete a pass every now and then. proctor grew up playing football and he earned a spot as starter on the team so people expect that he can hit a receiver at least ten yards down the field. Fans also expect him to take a hit, when he could run five yards for the first down, instead of sliding three yards before the marker to avoid being tackled. Not to mention that he got sacked for a loss of fifteen yards, on the next to last play against SC, when Tommy specifically told him to throw the ball away if the blitz was coming. I could go on but I mention this last example because Jad Dean comes on, barely misses the field goal and gets blamed for the loss, when if he were fifteen yards closer, Dean would have nailed it. How ironic is it that Jad Dean was blamed for the loss yet all proctor gets is, "lay off buddy, Id like to see you do better".
