Team Recruiting Rankings

Why are ESPN and Rivals so drastically different in their rankings? ESPN has us at 11 while Rivals has us at 26. 247 had us at 14 so their right in the middle. I never have looked at their formula so I have no clue. Just curious if anyone understood why the big difference.

Rivals is strictly point based and counts your top 20 commits. Clemson has a small class so we are ranked lower.
ESPN does use size, but weights it based on quality and some subjective criteria so we usually do okay.

It does not matter if we had 20 5*****s nobody would still give us the credit due. So the moral of the story is don't sweat it we will still have a quality class. Remember all that glitters is not gold and gold is sometimes found in the most unlikely places!!!

Becasue Clemson doesn't use Rivals as it's main board.

Most teams either use Rivals or Scout as their primary boards while we use independent Tigernet.
Rivals ranks the teams that have more subscriptions higher and Scout ranks their teams higher.

So USuCk must have a lot of subscriptions considering they have them ranked 15 I think. No way in heck that #### water recruiting class is the 5th best in the country.

Some services count the total points for highest rated 20 commits, others use formulas that involve average star rating, etc.
