Sponsors are bailing. NASCAR has major problems and I'm not sure how they fix it.

They better wake up cause electric cars are on the way....only thing they need to do now is figure out how to make tires last longer...cause they won't be doing pit stops once battery life is increased......THE FUTURE IS NEAR....

Rockingham was one of my favorite tracks for racing. Great seats all the way around. Like Richmond.

It looks near empty, but still the same number of fans as a packed house at the smaller tracks.

I stopped watching NASCAR quite some time ago. NASCAR lost it's soul and when they ditched some of the smaller venues (e.g. Rockingham and the like) for big city speedways and nurtured an era of big money teams to the detriment of the "little guy". The races are are boring, the drivers are boring, and ultimately the cars are boring as they are all essentially the same regardless of it being a Ford, Chevy, or Toyota. The France family may as well put a bullet in the head of their grandpappy's NASCAR dream - the sport is dying and their greed, money making schemes, and never ceasing compulsive rule changes have a lot to do with it.

They abandoned their roots for California, Illinois, New Hampshire, etc. They also got politically correct. They have only themselves to blame.

One word on how to fix NASCAR: Gambling.
Have it similar to horse racing. Multiple races per day at a venue.

I'm one of the few that still enjoy watching NASCAR. The new stage format has helped but they need to shorten the season, throw out the road courses, and allow more beating and banging. People say the product has declined but it has always just been cars going around in circles....either you like it or you don't. There are a lot of good drivers today. Used to it was just the 43 and everybody else.
