What exactly did the caller say to get Finebaum seemingly

Jul 22, 2017, 10:35 PM

irritated on his call-in show? I noticed the earlier parts weren't on the clip.

It's all partially manufactured conflict anyway to stir up other listeners and most of
the fan bases who listen to that show are delusional homers anyway.

Something about hair and ears I think***

I was listening the other day when he called in

And Finebaum had actually posed the question about who was set up for more success over the next 10 years, Alabama or Clemson?

First off, the caller was very respectful and said that although he was an "ACC fan", that he still enjoyed listening to the show. He then basically said that although we lose Deshaun, it's not like we don't have talented QBs on the roster that will try to replace him. That, and that he still believed we have a very good chance to go 11-1, win the ACC, and make it back to the playoff (if we have good QB play) given how well we have recruited and how much talent we still have left. Even looking at this team objectively, I would think that's a pretty reasonable assessment, which is why I was very surprised with Finebaum's reaction and his comments. Either he was looking to stir the pot and create talking points, or he's genuinely frustrated, upset, threatened, etc. by the reality that we have a very real chance at overtaking Bama as the best college football program over the next 10 years.

Tigernet - you're exposing their attempts to promote the SEC, and they're not happy. Expect a knock at your door as soon as they sober up from the gas mask bong hits.

So the guy wasn't being obnoxious like most of his

usual callers. It's a shame the guy wasn't more prepared. Clemson has had 6 seasons with 10 wins or more and is second behind Alabama in that stat. And Saban clearly has been coaching longer than Dabo and has had more advantages.

The normal call ins to that homer show are dumb as rocks, par for the show's host.
