"Look at how much we've accomplished with all the top RB's that have come though here, ok so its NOTHING". "But you can be the first!"

I just don't see the early PT at UGA

I understand that Michel and Chubb both graduate after this season, but they've got a decent set of backups.
D'Andre Swift was a highly rated back last year. Brian Herrien got some solid playing time last year. Elijah Holyfield was highly rated in the same class and should show more with opportunity this year. Georgia also looks to be taking another RB in the 2018 class.

They use the same pitch that we use at WR's we put more in the NFL and Ga. puts more RB's in NFL plus they are considered a run happy team.

Besides Gurley name a recent one.
Meanwhile; Davis, Spiller, Ellington and Gallman were all drafted. Hot Rod (McDowell) is the only starting (at season's end and this was not an injury issue) Clemson RB in the past decade not to get drafted.

Knowshon Moreno was 12th overall pick in 2009

Isaiah Crowell is in the NFL right now but he did so via Alabama State after getting booted off the team by Richt. Gurley was the 10th overall pick a couple years ago and Keith Marshall is currently with the Redskins. Chubb and Michel will join them after this year.
There, I think i named one.

Marshall and Moreno are the ones I could not recall, then. Crowell doesn't count, imo (not drafted from UGA). Chubb and Michel will be but aren't yet.
So, the count is presently 3 (UGA) to 4 (Clemson) with RBU trailing despite their history and offense that is said to feature the RB more.
Remember Choice was ahead of Gallman before his injury and Fuller has since emerged, as well as Feaster and Ettiene are waiting in the wings. This myth that UGA is the place to be if you're a running back is not as sold. Bama, however, is another story.

I'd take Georgia's stable of backs from the last ~10 years

over Bama's. The Bama RBs benefit from elite OL play and great coaching. Eddie Lacy was pretty good in the NFL, Ingram was OK, Richardson was a massive bust, and i don't think Derrick Henry is going to be good either.
None of those guys are explosive either whereas most of the UGA backs were versatile and legit homerun threats. Saban loves his big, lumbering RBs that can carry the ball 30+ times per game.

From a draft only perspective the Bama guys have the upper hand. UGA had good Olines until recently (last 5 years or so), btw.
