Nothing personal.....cause I bleed Orange

Jun 23, 2017, 2:37 PM

Why would a mega-rich football coach use a scholarship for a family member when it could be used to win the services of a player that needs the bux to attend? I'm sure there is something I don't understand..........school me please!!

So it's mainly a status thing? I understand the "he earned it" thing, and I understand the "he deserves it" thing. It's the "why does he need it?" thing that kinda leaves me wondering.

If they are worthy of a scholarship, they should take it. Personally, I don't think that a son should have to pay to go to a school where his dad works, and where dad will be coaching him at. That should be a part of the employment package.

Do you believe that the children of all Clemson employees should get to go to school for free as part of the employment package?

I think AU(Anderson Uni) has a similar program to this. Maybe it's a discount but I think I was told for free. I could be wrong about this.

If he attended free and was on the football team I believe the NCAA would count him as one of the 85 scholarships allowed.
