QB Dakereon Joyner of Fort Dorchester announces his college decision Sunday afternoon. USC is expected to be the choice over NC State. Thursday the Gamecocks saw another of their top quarterback targets, Tyler Shough of Chandler, AZ, commit to North Carolina. “They just checked everything off that I was looking for on my list, including education, relationship with coach, and opportunity to compete. Just felt like the right fit for me.” Other potential quarterback targets remaining for USC at this point include Cordel Littlejohn of Roswell, GA and Carter Bradley of Jacksonville.

earlier this week. According to the relative, Dakereon still talks a lot about really wanting to play for Clemson but he knows that playing QB at Clemson simply isn't an option for him.

Wishing he would come to Clemson as athlete, and play where the coaches think he will help team the most -- probably help his chances of going to the NFL also ???
